I want to win that machine!!!! I signed up awhile ago, will my name still be in the draw????
Hi Christy! Absolutely! Everyone who is on our newsletter list will be in the drawing! We’re glad you’re here!
OOOOH…how exciting, I’d love a Janome. I had the same question as Christy, but since you’ve already answered it, I just want to say, I love the site and I really liked the videos so far….now back to my perusing of the site….
Well worth the wait!!!!
Well you already answered my question.
Love the site and so glad to have it live, now i am off to
check it out more!
Oh I am so happy it is here finally!!! I can’t wait to check each section out!!! Woohoo Another site to keep me inspired!!
Thank You for making all this possible!!! SWAK!
Melanie
The site looks really good. I don’t own a machine, but I clicked around dreaming anyway. Maybe it will inspire me to check Ebay more for a good deal on a machine??? I did notice there are some kinks in the linking. I clicked on the Eiffel Tower to see the world travel designs and the Tower wasn’t an option. A train engine came up under many even when it had nothing to do with the category.
I do have a question. Yes, I know I don’t have a machine so why ask this, but I still would like to know for future reference. =) My daughter (+ future siblings) is a military child so I was looking for any military designs. Do you think any may be added in the future? I actually started searching for planes when I realized there wasn’t any; my husband is Air Force.
Hi Jennifer! I’m so glad you’re here and having fun looking around the site! Just seeing all of the fun designs gets me excited to do embroidery as well!
You have some great questions and I’ll see if I can help. When you click on the Eiffel Tower to see the world travel designs, click on “Shopping in Paris- 4 Designs” set. In there, you’ll see the Eiffel Tower you’re looking for.
Also, I think the train engine you see popping up in different places is because that is the first design of an entire set of different modes of transportation. In the title, you should be able to see how many designs there are. When you click on that, you’ll see the product page in which all of the designs in that set will show up. There is an airplane in there. We also have several more airplanes that should be added this week!
I’m also thrilled to tell you we have some great designs for military families! I have an armed forces babies set that is so, so cute as well as some great sayings for those in the military and some samplers as well. You should see these up within the next few days!
Thanks again for being a part of SWAK! We hope this becomes a place of inspiration and enthusiasm for something we all enjoy doing! If there is anything else I can help with, just let me know!

Gosh, the weather has been so gorgeous here lately…. I wonder if I can move my embroidery machine outside into the sun? Hmmmmm…….
That machine is awesome! I actually looked at that one recently in the store and loved all of it’s features. It is definitely on my wishlist!! Draw my name!! Please!!!!!!
HI! I love the new site! And watch out ladies, because I will be winning that machine!!! LOL I have been dying for an embroidery machine but would never be able to afford one. Winning one will be the closest I’ll ever get! LOL
Just out of curiosity, is everything that is on the SWAK site only for those that have an embroidery machine or can these patterns be used to applique with a regular sewing machine?
Thank so much!
Wendy
The new site looks great! Cute pictures. I am looking forward to seeing some fun embroidery. Have a great day!
Woo Hoo! Looks like I bought my first embroidery machine just in time! It’s for beginners, so the Janome would be an amazing step up!! I can’t wait to get busy!
The site looks great!
Love the new site. All the embroidery designs are great. I love sewing for children. Never won anything before but sure hope to win the Janome
This may sound really stupid but I am wondering if I can use these on one of those embroidery machines they have at Wal-mart? If I can I will go buy one next week. I want to start machine emb. but I just don’t have the money for a machine right now. I think I could swing the machine at wally though or maybe I should check out ebay.
Hi, Jessica!
Yes, you can use these embroidery designs on the machines you see at Walmart as long as they have the embroidery function (with the hoop).
You will also need a reader/writer box, depending on the brand and model of the machine you choose.
You can easily find reader/writer boxes on Ebay for a good price. A good kind is the “Amazing Box”.
This box will allow you to write designs (in your machine’s format) to a card, which you will insert into the machine.
When in doubt, check with someone who knows about these machines.
If you are purchasing it at Walmart I would check with their online store first so you can learn about the particular machine you want to purchase. This way you will know what to do before you purchase it.
Hi Michelle,
When is the contest for Janome Embroidery Machine over?
I love the new site—great job!
The drawing for the Janome 350 will be on July 5th! Thanks for checking out our new site! Good luck!
I am so glad I found your site Ilove it.
